School to School Collaboration
Working together for school improvement
As a school, we are always striving to be the best that we can be and to plan school improvement actions that will benefit our children. Recently, there has been a move towards schools working together to both support and help each other to develop their practice. At Minster, we embrace the opportunity to work with others in order to do this.
We were offered the opportunity to work with three other local schools on a project to develop Peer Review (Saint Nicholas-at-Wade, Bromstone and Garlinge). This project is about schools reviewing each other in an area that the school themselves has identified as an area for improvement. From this, workshops with staff are developed and a plan for improvement written. The project will run for three years.
All four school feel sure that it will be beneficial in developing our schools and improving practice. This will have a positive impact on our children.
I have also included some further information from the EEF about this project.
