Our Christian Foundation of Love

Our School Rule for Love - Be kind and loving to all.

In Matthew 5:45, Jesus says that God “…makes the sun rise on both good and bad people. And he sends rain for the ones who do right and for the ones who do wrong.” Through our Christian Narrative of the Mustard Seed, we also explore the idea that a farmer does not choose which seeds they will nurture and which they will not; they have a vested interest in all their crops and wish each one to succeed. We know that love is action – it is a verb after all – so we strive to show love to all around us - our ‘neighbours’ that we know, but also all of members of the human race, whoever they are. Each mustard seed is precious and has untold potential. We instil in our children the understanding that we should be ‘loving and kind to all’.
