Daily Update - Monday 18th November

HOMEWORK – English homework for Years 1-6 will be grammar based and will be sent home on Friday’s.  This must be returned on the following Wednesday.  Please do not return before Wednesday as children will need access to their Home Learning Books between Friday and Wednesday.

 

BASKETBALL CLUB – this will be merging with Handball Club.  This is in order to develop skills needed for their forthcoming competitions.

Year 6 – BIOGRAPHIERS – we will be looking at biographies over the next 2 weeks. 

Please can Year 6 pupils bring in any suitable biographies to use and share for the next 2 weeks. Similarly, if any suitable biographies could be donated to the school, they would also be very much be appreciated.  

 

CHRISTMAS CARD ORDERS – please complete the order form and return with correct monies (cash or cheque) by 20^th November.  We will be unable to accept orders after this date.

 

YEAR 2– PIRATE DAY – Tuesday 19^th November – children are invited to come to school dressed as a pirate.

 

WEDNESDAY 27^th NOVEMBER – NON UNIFORM in exchange for items for Christmas Fair.

 

YEAR 4 – FRIDAY 29^th NOVEMBER – “Music Through the Decades” dress up day.  Children can choose any decade they like and dress in an outfit to match the music being listened to at that time.
