DAILY UPDATE – 5th March 2021
Firstly, we look forward to having all the children back in on Monday. Reminder the gates will be open from 8.30am.
End of day collection times are as follows:-
EYFS & YEAR 1 – 2.55pm
YEAR 2 & 3 - 3.05pm
YEAR 4,5&6 – 3.15pm
Please if you haven’t done so already read Mr McCarthy’s letter regarding return to school which can be found on our website. Just a reminder – face masks must be worn when dropping off and collection children. Also, social distancing should also be adhered to.
ASBENT CHILDREN – if your child is absent for any reason, please ensure you contact the School Office as soon as possible.
YEAR 3 – Please remember we will be doing our junk modelling on Friday 12th March. Please can you search your house for items that would be useful, e.g. plastic bottles, lots of cardboard, egg boxes etc. Thank you! Please bring them in by Monday 8th March so that they can be quarantined before use.
INDIVIDUAL SCHOOL PHOTO’s – these will be taking place on Tuesday 30th March. Further information to follow.

SPONSORED READ – don’t forget this it taking place between the 1st March and 7th March. Monies raised from this sponsored event will go towards enhancing our reading resources with school. Please ensure any sponsor monies are handed into school by 27th March. Many thanks for your support with this event.
Should you need a sponsor form, please contact the Office who will be happy to pass this onto your child.
YEAR 6 – VICTORIAN DAY – children are invited to come to school on 8th March dressed in Victorian clothing. This can be white shirt, long shorts/grey trousers, long shirts – plain or dark.
PE KITS – could all children please remember to bring their PE kits into school. These should remain in school for the duration of the term.
COVID TESTING – a reminder – if a member of your household has to go for a Covid test, (NOT a work requested Lateral Flow Test) please remember that all those within the household MUST self isolate until the results of the Covid test have been received. Please advise us of who the person is going for the test. Children can then return to school once a negative result is received.
COVID 19 – should you or a member of your family at anytime need to go for a Covid test. Could we please ask that you notify us as soon as possible of the results. Should this happen over the weekend or out of school hours, please contact 07741 594078.
