DAILY UPDATE – 18^th NOVEMBER 2020 

 

YEAR 1 – JUNK MODELLING for making cars. We are in need of items such as - cardboard boxes (no bigger than a shoe box), bottles etc. If items could come in by Monday 23rd, this way they can be quarantined until the end of next week when we will start making our cars. Thank you. 

 

WHOLE SCHOOL – could we please ask that if children have long hair that it is tied back during school.   

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY - Youth Sport Trust have set up a YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/YouthSportTrust) and they are broadcasting an after school club everyday at 5pm from 16.11.2020-18.12.2020. 

 

Children can join in for free: 

• Adventure Monday – This might involve getting children to do floor, wall climbing and map reading all within their living room 
• Tuesday Play – Imaginative play utilising resources in the house to create games and activities to get active 
• Wild Wednesday – Some high tempo competitive activities involving personal challenges 
• Thinking Thursday – Introducing cognitive challenges for children through movement. Active noughts and crosses and introducing an element of competition – whether that be against themselves, the clock, their siblings or remotely with friends 
• Fun Friday – A chance for children to let loose and have some fun. Dancing and doing what makes them feel good.

  CHRISTMAS COLOURING – we have been asked by a parent if our children would like to help decorate the chemotherapy ward at QEQM.  Unfortunately, due to the pandemic they are unable to decorate the ward and would like to involve our children by asking them to   colour a Christmas picture. Pictures will be available in their classes.  Please colour and return to the Office – there will be a box outside the Office for the children to place their pictures in.  Could we ask that children write their name and class on the back of the picture. All pictures need to be returned by Monday 23^rd November.
  
   
  
  COVID 19 – should you or a member of your family at anytime need to go for a Covid test. Could we please ask that you notify us as soon as possible of the results.  Should this happen over the weekend or out of school hours, please contact 07741 59407
